Poppy Flower Sea Glass Necklace

This gorgeous, rare red sea glass was collected in Iceland. I have been wanting to create something with a poppy flower for some time now and these two just came together perfectly. Handcrafted from sterling silver sheet, the poppy was hand sawn and added to a double silver backplate to which I gave a random scalloped like edge. An 18" rollo style chain hangs from a hidden bail. Oxidized to bring out details. Super special piece.
